What qualifications do Eyr psychologists have?

The psychologist has extensive knowledge and understanding of how we humans think, feel, and act under different circumstances and life stages, both as normally functioning, healthy individuals and if we are affected by mental health issues.

"Psychologist" is a protected title. The Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen) has set requirements for the duration, content, level, and practical training of the psychology program to ensure that the psychologist has the necessary competence to provide expert and effective assistance within the Swedish healthcare system. This includes specific legal obligations and responsibilities, such as confidentiality and record-keeping requirements, as well as the use of evidence-based methods in accordance with specific ethical guidelines.
