How it works
Talk to a doctor over video with the Eyr app for iPhone, iPad and Android.
Sign in with (Norwegian) BankID
We use BankID for identification to be able to connect with public health services, for example to issue prescriptions.
Add a payment method
Add a payment card or an insurance policy that covers your consultations. When you add your card we will only check that it is valid. The consultation price will be reserved when you enter the queue and charged when the consultation is completed.
Book an appointment
Click Book appointment on the home screen to enter the queue. We are open every day from 08:00am to 10:00pm (weekdays) and 10:00am to 10:00pm (weekends). Times in local time (CEST).
Wait for the doctor to call
You are now in queue. Normal wait time is under 30 minutes, but depending on our traffic you may experience longer wait times. If the wait time exceeds 30 minutes you may leave the queue, and you will not be charged.
You should find a quiet and private place with good lighting. For optimal connection quality, use 4G and remember to charge your phone.
The consultation starts
When the doctor is ready, you will receive a notification on your phone. Click 'Accept call' directly (only on iPhone) or open the app and click 'Open conversation'.
Contact support if you experience technical difficulties or your doctor does not contact you within 30 minutes of the scheduled appointment.
After the consultation is completed, you will be able to book a new consultation. Most of the time you will also receive a message from your doctor with notes or a confirmation that you have received a prescription.
